Answer 1

Answer: Please mark me as brainlest

Explanation:

Nationalism has been the most influential trend in both current political discussions as well as the in the emergence of more engrained political processes in Turkey. In all political strands from the far left to the far right, a ferment, or at least an influential force of nationalism exists in varying tones and different degrees. Nationalism is represented in almost all political structures and provides for many issues of Turkey the necessary templates for easy explanations and reactions, which most of the time function successfully. Through conditioned reflexes, which have been imprinted to the collective subconscious of the country, nationalism manages to mobilize reactions to current issues. It can easily be said that it is the trend with the highest political decisiveness.

Answers

Answer:

False

Explanation:

According to Walter Christaller's central place theory, it is FALSE that smaller cities can provide a more diverse array of services than larger cities.

This is evident in the fact that Walter Christaller, a German Geographer in 1933, brought the idea of central-place theory in his book titled "Central Places in Southern Germany."

Walter Christaller explained that larger cities or higher-order places produce more goods and services than other places, while the smaller cities or lower-order places have little market areas, hence, they produce goods and services that are purchased more frequently than higher-order goods and services.

Puritans derived their name from the fact that they  d. Wanted to purify the Church of England of all features of Catholicism.

Who are the Puritans ?

The Church of England's Puritanism, a movement for religious reform that emerged in the latter half of the 16th century, was led by the Puritans. They thought the Church of England should stop participating in rituals and customs that had no biblical foundation because they were too similar to those of the Roman Catholic Church.

Puritans believed that carrying out these reforms was a direct commitment they had made with God. In the 1620s and 1630s, under pressure from the Church and the Crown, some Puritan groups immigrated to Northern English colonies in the New World, establishing the theological, intellectual, and social structure of New England. Since then, elements of puritanism have permeated every aspect of American life.

Is understanding conflicts between traditional culture and modern challenges important in today's world? Why or why not?

Answers

Answer:

(In my opinon) It is important to understand conflicts between traditional culture and modern challenges.

(The following is just me writing out an argument of why we should change old tradtions and why not. I think that it might help with deciding if it's important or not :D)

Well, the most noticeable change towards society in the last few years has been the manifestation of the word “change”. We talk of changing our processes and ways of doing things, how to introduce new methods, products, and practices into a fast developing world, that can sometimes be resistant to change whether it is good or bad.

But, despite this, there is people who believe in the old methods of doing things, and refuse to give up old practises.

The fact that both modern methods and traditional ways are both important and valuable for our community cannot be over emphasized. What is it about tradition that makes it so important to people, that even as they respond to change they still don’t want to part with it? We usually think of traditions as something that is passed down through the generations, they can also be started again by doing the same thing for three years in a row to positive emotions and feelings of love. Traditions today are our most prized possessions that stay the same it reminds and links us to our past, our roots, and our family.

(There are traditions that can not go unoticed, just not gonna mention them.)

Traditions are very important but when these traditions start to affect us negatively its best we do away with the bad aspect of it or make an effort to modify it into something positive. So change can't be all that bad.

Understanding the tensions between traditional culture and contemporary problems is crucial.

What is the concept of the passage?

The embodiment of the word "change" has, in fact, been the most obvious shift in society during the past few years. In a world that is rapidly developing and occasionally resistant to change, whether it is for the better or worse, we talk about modifying our processes and ways of doing things as well as how to introduce new practices, products, and approaches.

However, there are still many who cling to outdated ways of doing things and won't abandon them.

It is crucial to recognize the importance and value of both contemporary and traditional approaches for our community. What is it about tradition that makes it so essential to individuals and why do they still hold on to it even when faced with change.

Thus, Understanding the tensions between traditional culture and contemporary problems is crucial.

Once again all rations were reduced, except those of the pigs and the dogs. A too rigid equality in rations, Squealer explained, would have been contrary to the principles of Animalism. In any case he had no difficulty in proving to the other animals that they were NOT in reality short of food, whatever the appearances might be. For the time being, certainly, it had been found necessary to make a readjustment of rations (Squealer always spoke of it as a "readjustment," never as a "reduction"), but in comparison with the days of Jones, the improvement was enormous. Reading out the figures in a shrill, rapid voice, he proved to them in detail that they had more oats, more hay, more turnips than they had had in Jones's day, that they worked shorter hours, that their drinking water was of better quality, that they lived longer, that a larger proportion of their young ones survived infancy, and that they had more straw in their stalls and suffered less from fleas. The animals believed every word of it. Truth to tell, Jones and all he stood for had almost faded out of their memories. They knew that life nowadays was harsh and bare, that they were often hungry and often cold, and that they were usually working when they were not asleep. But doubtless it had been worse in the old days. They were glad to believe so. Besides, in those days they had been slaves and now they were free, and that made all the difference, as Squealer did not fail to point out.How does this passage demonstrate the use of propaganda? Select two options. It demonstrates repetition because Squealer reminds the animals that they are free at the farm because of the work they are doing. It demonstrates hyperbole because Squealer exaggerates the figures related to positive developments of the farm.It demonstrates bandwagon because Squealer convinces the animals that life is better now than it was before, and everyone agrees because the report says so.It demonstrates plain folks because Squealer explains why the pigs and dogs deserve better food rations than the other animals. It demonstrates glittering generalities because Squealer does not explain the claim that equality in rations would be contrary to the farms ideals.
